The Kebbi State Government, in collaboration with Nasara Foundation and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), has commenced a free medical and surgical outreach at the Kebbi State Medical Centre, Kalgo, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to residents across the state.
The outreach, organised under the leadership of Her Excellency, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, First Lady of Kebbi State and Founder of Nasara Foundation, has a 25-member team of medical professionals from WAMY, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working alongside local healthcare personnel to provide medical treatment and perform surgical procedures on patients.
The intervention is expected to benefit more than 3,000 residents, with 1,500 beneficiaries scheduled for surgical procedures and another 1,500 receiving medical treatment. The initiative reflects the shared commitment of the Kebbi State Government, Nasara Foundation and WAMY to improving access to quality healthcare and bringing relief to people in need across Kebbi State.
