Nasara Foundation, in collaboration with the Islamic Enlightenment Foundation of Nigeria (IEFN), has concluded a four-day free cataract surgery outreach at the General Hospital, Koko, providing eye screening, consultations, treatment and surgery to over 700 beneficiaries from Koko and neighbouring communities.
The initiative, organised under the leadership of the Founder of Nasara Foundation, Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, provided beneficiaries with prescribed medications, eyeglasses and other necessary medical support. Speaking at the event, the Foundation’s Coordinator, Alhaji Abdurasheed Bala, reaffirmed Nasara Foundation’s commitment to bringing essential healthcare services closer to underserved communities across Kebbi State.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Nasara Foundation, IEFN and the medical team, describing the intervention as life-changing. The outreach further demonstrates the Foundation’s commitment to improving healthcare access and restoring hope among vulnerable communities.
