Nasara Women Development Foundation also known as Nasara Foundation is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Office of the First Lady of Kebbi State to empower 500 Fulani women. The event took place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Hotingo Center in Kebbi State, bringing together beneficiaries and key stakeholders across the state.
The event was graced by esteemed personalities, including the Chairman of the Fulani Association of Kebbi State; the Women Leader of the Kebbi State Fulani Women Association, Hajiya Hauwau Mohammad; a Member of the Elders Forum, Hajiya Rafaatu Hammani; Members of the Board of Trustees, Bashar Attah, Abdulrasheed Bala, Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar; and the representative of the Founder of the Foundation, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad Maikurata, who is also a member of the Board of Trustees.
Delivering remarks on behalf of the Founder and Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, the representative described the program as a significant step towards fostering economic growth and sustainable development in Fulani communities.
“At Nasara Foundation, we are firmly committed to advancing women’s empowerment across Kebbi State. We deeply value this partnership with the Office of the First Lady, which has enabled us to reach and uplift these women,” she stated. “We encourage like-minded organizations to join us in this meaningful endeavor to create lasting positive change for women in Kebbi State.”
