NASARA Foundation Enhances Humanitarian Ties with WAMY Nigeria

NASARA FOUNDATION STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP WITH WAMY NIGERIA FOR EXPANDED HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT

The Founder of Nasara Foundation and First Lady of Kebbi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, led a delegation on a courtesy and partnership visit to the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Nigeria office in Kano, aimed at strengthening collaboration and expanding humanitarian interventions in Kebbi State.

She was accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of Nasara Foundation, Hajiya Bilkisu Muhammad Nasir; the Foundation’s Coordinator, Alhaji Abdurasheed Bala; Chairman, Board of Trustees, Alhaji Usman; Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Imran Ibn Usman; alongside other members of the delegation.

The visit was to appreciate WAMY for its continuous support to Kebbi State, particularly in the area of annual free eye surgeries and other impactful humanitarian services.

Speaking during the visit, Her Excellency commended WAMY for its unwavering commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities. She emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between WAMY Nigeria and Nasara Foundation to expand the scope of interventions and ensure sustainable impact.

In his response, the Country Director of WAMY Nigeria expressed delight over the visit and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to deepening its partnership. He announced plans to provide free full-body surgeries to between 300 and 500 beneficiaries within the year, construct additional mosques, and introduce scholarship programmes for orphans in the coming months.

Her Excellency reiterated her commitment to sustaining the collaboration, assuring that the partnership between Nasara Foundation and WAMY will continue to thrive beyond her tenure for the benefit of the people of Kebbi State.

The visit marks another significant step in advancing strategic partnerships that promote healthcare, education, and humanitarian development across Kebbi State.
