Pomp and Fanfare as Nasara Foundation Celebrates 3rd Anniversary and Launches The Nasara Chronicle in Kebbi State

Yes, we did it! Nasara Foundation turned three, and we marked the milestone in grand style on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Convocation Arena of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.

But that wasn’t all. We proudly unveiled our brand-new magazine, The Nasara Chronicle — a powerful publication capturing our journey, spotlighting success stories, and celebrating the impact we’ve made together.

The event was graced by dignitaries, stakeholders, and friends of the Foundation who came to show support and share in our joy.

Among those who delivered goodwill messages were the Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammed Usman Akwai; former Head of Service and current Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Servants, Alhaji Safiyamu Bena; and Secretary of the Technical Working Group (TWG) on Gender-Based Violence, Mr. Nasir Idris.

In a strong show of support, the Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade (Dr.) Nasir Idris, pledged his administration’s readiness to partner with impactful organizations like ours, stating:

“Where the government cannot reach, organizations like Nasara Foundation are making a difference. My administration is committed to partnering with such initiatives to extend our collective impact.”

Hajiya Bilkisu Muhammad Nasir, CEO of Nasara Foundation, also reflected on the foundation’s journey:

“For three years, we have remained unwavering in our mission to empower vulnerable groups through the provision of healthcare, education, skills training, and humanitarian aid. Reaching over 500,000 beneficiaries is a milestone we are incredibly proud of.”

Highlighting the significance of the day, our Founder, Her Excellency, the First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, underscored the value of having a publication like the Nasara Chronicle:

“This magazine is more than just a publication—it’s a bridge connecting us with our stakeholders. It amplifies the voices of the underserved, shares stories of hope, and fosters dialogue on critical societal issues. Through it, we ensure our impact resonates far beyond our programs.”

Indeed, the Nasara Chronicle is more than just a magazine — it is a vital instrument for change and a bridge connecting our work with the broader community.

We are grateful for the love and support.
