Nasara Foundation Partners Ufok Dialogue and Near Foundation to provide Borehole in Tarasa Community
Nasara Women Development Foundation also known as Nasara Foundation has partnered with Ufok Dialogue, and Near Foundation to provide a much-needed borehole in the Tarasa community, located in Birnin Kebbi Local Government, Kebbi State. The newly installed borehole is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities by improving access to clean water, sanitation, and Hygiene. This intervention aligns with SDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, which seeks to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
During the commissioning event, Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, Wife of the Kebbi State Governor and Founder of Nasara Foundation, expressed her excitement about the positive impact the borehole will have on the Tarasa community. She praised the collaboration between Nasara Foundation, Ufok Dialogue, and Near Foundation, highlighting that this intervention is already making a difference in the lives of people in the region.
Hajiya Zainab also called on other organizations to join their efforts and contribute to the empowerment of women, youth, and the girl-child in the community. She emphasized the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable development and creating a lasting change.
The event was attended by several distinguished individuals, including Mamman Abdulmalik Bulakos, the representative of Near Foundation, Emrah IIgen, the representative of Ufok Dialogue, and Hajiya Halima Hassan Kamba, the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development in Kebbi State.
This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing critical needs in underserved communities, fulfilling SDG Goal 6, and ensuring lasting improvements in the quality of life for residents.
